im lost and confused pls help?
im looking for a long battery life pda, have a good resolution since ill be using it in my presantation, also i could use to surf the net!! like check out my email and download pics and songs. i’m planning in getting a lifedrive, is it good? can i multi task on it? or will i just get an o2 xdIIi how much is the spare battry for this one? pls help!!!!
Actually, some of the best battery lives in PDAs are with Palm smartphones! They need to last longer and they do…the Treo can have over 6 hours of battery life, about twice as long as the 3-3.5 hour charge of the Lifedrive. You can multitask with either of these, or with any Palm or Pocket PC fot that matter. I personally recommend (after owning about 20 different PDAs) a Palm OS handheld.
The Treo would allow you to check email and surf (and make calls) from anywhere in the phone’s (I recommend Sprint) network, so you wouldn’t need to be near a hotspot AND you would have the great battery life, as well as all of the benefits and (in my opinion) reliability of the Palm OS.
Whatever you decide, there are things you can do to extend battery life – keep the brightness down when you can (when indoors), keep the infrared receive off when you aren’t using it, etc.
