A question about mobile technology pls pls help me?
Okay im doing an assingment in class.. i need to know quite a lot of information on mobiles and i can’t really find the information i need on the internet.. here are some of the questions:
-The hardware and software related to mobile technology
-Components of a mulitpedia mobile technology device (PDA, smartphone)
-Input/output devices (handsfree, bluetooth)
-applications (camera,mp3 player)
-Networking-basic components (router, server, modem)
-Mobile phone networks (3G, GSM, CDMA, etc)
-Internet, Broadband, WiFi technology and contract plans (examples explained)
this is the way my teacher set it out i dont get why he gave the answers in the bracket and what i’m supposed to do.. maybe you’d know?
i know its a lot but u can help id be sooo greatful!
This is year 12 – Applied Information Technology.
1. discuss what infrastructure has been set up for mobile phone use (land technology such as receiver towers etc. and phone technology such as removable memory storage, photo capabilities etc)
2. what makes a multipedia phone different from a regular mobile- u could discuss the qwerty keyboard, handheld pc (a computer operating system on a phone) etc.
3. self explanatory
4. describe the function and purpose of these applications. why is it handy to have a camera built into the phone. Because u can send photos instantly via mms. etc
5. I dunno, maybe this relates to infrastructure. what technologies enable these networks to exist. 3G service towers, etc? an internal router. u need to research this.
6. probably need to identify the reasons why 3G is the best network at present. u could trace the history of the network types. CDMA is currently being dismantled in oz.
7. research some plans offered by mobile phone companies. Think of THREE and VODAFONE etc.
