Quicktime is not recognizing mp4 videos from my pdas anymore whereas it used to.?
Can anyone please help? I am unable to view mp4 videos captured from my pda on my macbook using the latest Quicktime version. An error window stating “The Movie Could not be opened. An invalid sample description was found in the movie”. However the same video clips can be viewed in my O2 atom pda, which uses windows media player 10 for pocket pc. As a note, quicktime used to be able to view these mp4 files but i think i updated to the latest version which put an end to all that…. many thanks in advance.

Could it be that the updated version of Quicktime is missing the right codec to view these files.
Download the following codec packs and install them. Try the first one and if still you have your problem try the second one.
