Pda Linux Sync
The only thing holding me back from using linux exclusivly is syncing my palm (pocket quicken) with quicken.?

What financial software is out there for linux.
Does anyone know of software that i can input finances on my palm pda and sync it with the software on the pc?

There are a few.
GnuCash and TurboCash seem to be the most popular.

For the palm there is freecoins
http://freecoins.sourceforge.net/
The project site states that a module to sync with Gnucash is in development.

I’m not sure of the status of conversion from quicken. I believe I’ve seen that there is a beta conversion utility for GnuCash.
Otherwise you could always export/import in some way… like with XML formatting.

Links to TurboCash and a review of other similar programs can be found at http://www.t3technet.com/alternates.html under ‘Financial and Accounting’

Gnucash is located at http://www.gnucash.org/
